México: Imprenta del Gobierno Federal en el Ex - Arzobispado, 1892. 4o., IX + 778; 851 p. Edición oficial dirigida por J. M. Vigil. Tomos I - II. Tomo II:
Portada con pequeños faltantes. Encuadernados en pasta dura, con lomo en piel. Piezas: 2. José María Bocanegra (1787 - 1862) fue político, abogado, economista y escritor mexicano. Ha sido el único personaje que ha sido titular de cada uno de los tres poderes de la Unión en México. En 1844 se retiró de la política para ejercer la profesión de abogado y escribir la obra que ahora presentamos, que es la que lo dio a conocer como historiador.
