Amecameca: Tipografía del Colegio Católico, 1883. 8o. marquilla, 7 h. + XXIII + 476 p. + 1 h.; 468 p. + 1 h.; 328 p. + 2 h. Tomos I - III. Tomo I: Páginas 325 - 340 mal encuadernadas. Segunda edición publicada por el Presbítero Fortino Hipólito Vera. Encuadernados en pasta dura, lomo en piel. Piezas: 3. Una de las más destacadas obras sobre bibliografía mexicana, realizada por José Mariano Beristain y Souza, quien tan sólo alcanzó a imprimir las primeras 184 páginas del Tomo I en vida. Posteriormente, su sobrino, Rafael Enríquez Trespalacios Beristain, se encargaría de llevar a buen término la empresa. La obra da cuenta de numerosas producciones literarias de escritores novohispanos que, de otra manera, hubieran quedado por fuera de los registros de la historia.
