Pasaporte Otorgado al Teniente Coronel D. Josef Antonio Dávalos.
Guadalajara, agosto 15 de 1809. "D. Roque Abarca, Brigadier de los Reales Exercitos, Comandante General de la Nueva Galicia… Concede libre y seguro Pasaporte al Teniente Coronel D. Josef Antonio Dávalos que en virtud de orden del Exmo. Ylmo. Sor. Virey pasa a Colima en la clase de Comandante de la 2ª división de milicias del Sur". Firmas de Roque Abarca y de Joseph Ygnacio Ortiz de Salinas. Escudo de armas, grabado por J. Fabregat. 1 h., 31 x 21.5 cm. Roque Abarca fue Intendente de Guadalajara de 1805 a 1811, años importantes en el inicio de la Guerra de Independencia de México. Después de la Batalla de Puente de Calderón, fue removido de su cargo por el militar español José de la Cruz, alegando ineptitud.
