Overall length opened 12-1/2", blade length 5-3/4" . Circa 1835. Nice clip point with swedge on both sides. Marked on haft "A. Davy's Celebrated American Hunting Knife". Blade with minor pitting overall, modern sharpening marks to edge, one small chip in sharpened edge. Overall grey patina. Mounts all German silver. Demi crossguard, abbreviated clamshell. Very rare pommel, crown form. Cow horn scales, enhanced on each side with six rivets. Left side with name plate. Lockback in working order. Overall: 12-1/2"L.
