A cartes de visite featuring a compelling portrait of Native American O-Gee-Tub, also known as Heavy Sitter, the Chief of the Cass Lake Chippewas, captured by the renowned photographer Joel Whitney in St. Paul, Minnesota. O-Gee-Tub was a significant figure during the mid-19th century, notably participating in the 1862 Dakota Uprising, a key event in Minnesota's history.
