- Lot Description
One electronically tested 18KT white gold ladies cast & assembled ruby & diamond ring. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured ruby is set within a diamond bezel, supported by diamond set open shoulders that are connected by a bar on the back of the band. Measuring seven millimeters wide at the back of the band. Bright polish finish. Identified with markings of "18K". Containing: One prong set marquise mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 15.30 x 6.60 x 4.00mm, approximate weight of 3.13ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Fifty-six prong set round brilliant cut diamonds approximate total weight of 56 Stones = 0.66ctw.
