A SUMERIAN CLAY TABLET, 3RD DYNASTY OF UR, 2028-2004BC with cuneiform inscription and clear impression of a cylinder seal, 5cm w (ex Alex Szolin, Nottingham) According to notes made by Alan Cotterill, the tablet refers to various weights of barley delivered by one Lu Nanna and received by Lu-Dingirra in the year that Simurum was destroyed. The seal impression is in the name of Ibbi Sin, King of Ur. The authorising seal is of Huwawa, Son of Daga, Governor of Umma. ++ Complete and in tact - Shipping Info
