Hadis Karami is a mixed media textile artist currently based in New Bedford. She earned an MFA in 3D Fine Arts from the Massachusetts College of Design in 2023. Through her art, Hadis delves deep into the political, socio-cultural, and gender norms, all through the deeply personal lens of her own experiences and traumas. Hadis Karami's art has been exhibited across the United States. Most recently, her work was featured in the 3rd Annual Juried Graduate Alumni Exhibition, “Earthquake Picnic,” at the MassArt_x_SoWa gallery. In 2022, Hadis was awarded the Jill Slosburg-Ackerman Scholarship by the MassArt Foundation. The following year, in 2023, she received the Outstanding Student Award from the Surface Design Association.Exhibition Sponsor:
