- Lot Description
GN Crew - Boston, Genaro 'Go Five' Ortega '09, Rob 'Problak' Gibbs, Lee ‘Soems’ Beard, and Luis ‘Take 1’ Taforo - was founded in 1995. The goal of GN was to motivate one another with superb styles and ideas. With over 30 years of experience between them creating mural art in Boston and beyond, GN Crew served as MassArt's inaugural Tyrone Maurice Adderley Artists in Residence in 2022, a program run by MassArt's Office of Justice, Equity, & Transformation in partnership with Academic Affairs. The program expands the annual lectures by supporting opportunities to learn from artists, be in community, and engage with expansive ideas of art and the creative process.11. GN CREW
