Ezra Shales received an MFA from Hunter College, CUNY, in 1996. He exhibited work in New York City 1993-2004 at Artists Space and PS 1, among other venues, and was included in the Brooklyn Museum's "Open House: Working in Brooklyn" (2004) before closing his studio practice and beginning work on his Ph.D.Exhibition Sponsor:
