Walt Coburn Hat and Branding iron 1) Branding Iron: 26.5” long. Iron, “C” shape brand. 2) Stetson Hat: 7.125” tan hat with Stetson lining. In old Dobbs Fifth Avenue Hats (NYC) box. $2,000-4,000 Provenance: Dick Flood Collection; Daro and Teresa Flood Collection. Consignor purchased both hat and iron from Walt Coburn. Books titled Walt Coburn, Western Word Wrangler, An Autobiography by Walt Coburn and Rhymes from a Round-Up Camp by Wallace David Coburn and Charles M. Russell will accompany the lot.1) Fine condition. 2) Hat is excellent with exception of one small stain/discolored spot on inside rim.
