- Lot Description
Sioux Beaded and Quilled Bow and Quiver Bow is 39” overall with sinew string still intact. Includes 9 arrows; some whole and pieces of others. Features geometric beadwork and quillwork, accented with fringe, red yarn, and red trade wool. This is a beautiful example of a classic Sioux design. Circa 1870. $18,000-25,000 Provenance: The Cameron Collection, CO, AZ, NM, MT, WY.Beadwork is overall excellent, quillwork is excellent but not bright. Hide shows some discoloration in areas but is mostly soft and supple.
