- Lot Description
Regulation 1821 Style Eagle Head Infantry Officer's Sword 38.25" overall, blade is 31 7/8". Blade has gilt highlighted etchings on a blued field with two white panels on each side. Gilded brass hilt has large turned down guard featuring a spread winged American eagle and shield. Eagle head pommel with wire wrapped mother of pearl grips. $1,000-1,500Blade shows substantial original factory polish. Blued background and gilded highlights are strong and nearly complete. Fine condition overall.
