- Lot Description
Navajo Rug 10'10" x 7'3" "Montana-sized" Crystal area weaving filled with pictorial and geometric design elements. An otter is central in the weavings expansive hand-carded, highly variegated gray-tan field. It is woven from all Native hand-carded and hand-dyed long staple Churro sheep wools. Circa 1915. $10,000-15,000No a/b sides. Some tassels appear newer. Possible repair to selvage along one edge, otherwise excellent.
