- Lot Description
Navajo Blanket 6' x 4' classic Moki Serape with a 3rd Phase design. All of the diamonds are a concentric stepped design with Spider Woman crosses. This transitional blanket is a stunning example of a classically designed Navajo weaving. Most likely from the Hubbell Trading Post in the Ganado region of the Navajo Nation. Circa 1900. $6,000-8,000 Provenance: Ranchfolks Navajo Rugs.No a/b sides. Remants of corner tassels visible. Some snags visible on selvage. Overall excellent condition considering age.
