- Lot Description
1) Maple Burl Ladle 14.5" embellished with four brass tacks. Circa 1870. Provenance: Dave Harvey, 2023; Present owner. 2) Plains Bison Horn Spoon 7.5" with skeletonized handle wrapped with porcupine quills. The end of the handle is embellished with yellow dyed horse hair and corded hide suspension loop. Circa 1850. $1,500-2,500 Provenance: Collection of Jeb Taylor.
Condition
Expected use wear, minor bug damage. Quills missing on one area of handle. Shows age and use. Both overall great considering age and use.
