Navajo Rug 8'4" x 5'1" Klagetoh weaving featuring a large, bold, elongated and stepped medallion with spiral and wing tip motifs on each step. The field color is a beautiful hand-carded and highly variegated light grayish-tan. Arrow and feather motifs fill the corners. Woven from all Native long-staple Churro cross sheep wool on a wool warp. All wools were hand-carded, handspun and hand-dyed by the weaver. Slight a/b sides. One side is slightly faded. All corner tassels intact. There are two areas of yellowing/discoloration in two opposing corners, along with slight bleed, red to ivory, in those same corners, visible on both sides. Largest area is 18" x 12".
