- Lot Description
Navajo Rug 9'4" x 5'4" very fancy Crystal Trading Post area floor rug with a stunning hand-carded, highly variegated dark grayish-brown field. Design motifs are classic Crystal elements including Storm design in each end field and central small concentric stepped diamonds. It is a large, finely woven piece using all Native hand-carded, handspun and hand-dyed Churro long-staple wools on a wool warp. Circa 1930. $6,000-9,000 Provenance: Ranchfolks Navajo Rugs.
Condition
No a/b sides. Remnants of corner tassels are visible. One 4" x 2" area of light discoloration near one end, visible on both sides. Otherwise great condition.
