- Lot Description
Cree Beaded Knife Case Sheath is 11" with 3" of fringe, beaded in banded and geometric designs, accented with scalloped trade cloth. Circa 1860. Knife is 12.5" and marked Practical Cutlery, Sheffield. Knife is newer. $2,500-3,500 Provenance: Private Collection, White Bird, ID. Collector's Notes.Beadwork is overall excellent. Trade cloth shows some deterioration. Slight damage to upper back of sheath has been stabilized, showing a 2" seam at upper left which has been repaired.
