- Lot Description
Blackfoot Beaded Teen's Shirt 26" long x 53" cuff to cuff. Beaded strips with geometric patterns, decorated with a blue and red trade wool collar and scalloped cuffs, all sewn with thread on Native tanned hide. Late 1800s. $7,000-10,000 Provenance: The Cameron Collection, CO, AZ, NM, MT, WY.Beadwork is excellent. Hide is soft and supple, showing some minor discoloration from age. Some spots of yellow ochre accent still visible throughout shirt.
