- Lot Description
Navajo Rug 7'6" x 4'7" Bisti Storm design weaving. This overall design was likely copied from a C.N. Cotton Navajo Rug catalog, and the circles added. Very tightly and finely woven and incorporates numerous design motifs yielding a very fancy weaving. The wools are all from Native hand-carded and handspun long-staple Churro sheep wools. Circa 1920. $8,000-10,000 Provenance: Ranchfolks Navajo Rugs.
Condition
No a/b sides. All corner tassels intact. Overall excellent conditiion with the exception of one light nickel sized stain near one end, showing through to both sides.
