Navajo Rug 9'11" x 4'11" Bisti floor rug, very finely woven at 40 wefts per inch. Features classic Bisti motif of circles, curvilinear scrolls and checkered border outlining with highly variegated natural black and a rich, dark grayish-brown colors. Woven from all Native hand-carded, handspun and hand-dyed, very smooth long-staple Churro sheep wools on a wool warp. Navajo Bisti floor rugs of this age, size and quality are difficult to come by. Very slight a/b sides. One side is very slightly slightly faded. Remnants of corner tassels visible. Handful of small light stains visible throughout, mostly isolated to one side along with one 1" yellow stain near one end showing through to other side. Overall great condition.
