1840-1860 Northern Plains Blanket Gun 16” octagon barrel, hand-carved water fowl stock. Original 19th century Spanish Miquelet made into an Indian blanket gun. Markings visible on barrel. $1,500-2,500 Provenance: "From the Forrest Fenn Estate, Santa Fe, NM. Forrest Fenn had one of the highest quality Native American Beadwork and Indian Trade guns in existence."Fine condition with nice patina on wood.
