• Lot Description
  Lounge on extravagant deep blue velvet, suspended across a sturdy, but artfully imagined structure made of heavy nickelled metal. This set of eight chairs was created by French Avant Garde designer Pierre Cardin for well-known interior design firm Maison Jansen. The sparse original structure feels like a piece of modern art, and the new luxurious upholstery allows the chairs to feel comfortable and usable, not out of place in a contemporary interior. Every part of these decorative pieces is quality made-evident by the heaviness of the chairs-resulting in a timeless midcentury set.
