Texas artist Martin Grelle was invited to join the prestigious Cowboy Artists of America in 1995 and since that time has been one of the most awarded members of the organization. These awards include twice winning the Prix de West Purchase Award at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City. In "Provider", the artist skillfully portrays a Crow brave in a winter setting returning to camp with much needed game for his tribe.Condition
The painting appears to be in good condition. Under UV examination, there is no evidence of restoration or inpainting.
