PROVENANCE
Private Collection, Houston, TexasThe painting appears to be in good condition. The canvas is gallery wrapped and unframed. Under UV examination, there is no evidence of inpainting or restoration. The signature in the upper right-hand corner of the front of the painting, however, has been altered by the artist in that it appears to have been painted over and re-signed in the opposite vertical position. The painting has also been signed and titled by the artist in verso on the top stretcher bar. There is some dark spotting in the middle upper portion of the painting and there is craquelure in part of the graphic element at the bottom middle of the painting. There is also some paint abrasion and loss along the outside edges.Condition
