Locati is pleased to offer the Bob Goode Collection of Japanese Netsuke, which consists of nearly 100 lots of examples from the Edo period to modern examples. Highlights include examples by Sakai Masami, Clive Hallam, Issho, Toshu, Hasagawa Masayuki, Sergey Chernyavkiy, Kazuo Mizutani, and Haritsu. The first half of the auction will feature The Madge Goldman Trust Collection which includes Inuit art, American art glass, and fine prints including works by Dale Chihuly, Le Corbusier, Fernand Leger, Havery K. Ten pieces, comprising: a bird and egg in wood, a red lacquered crane, a manju with phoenix and lotus, a wood rat by Kazuo Mizutani, an owl in wood with signature Ro, the head of a bird in buffalo horn, a reclining crane in porcelain, a snail on a bamboo shoot in wood, a frog on a lotus bud in wood, and a shell with a duck and a cuckoo in low relief in wood.
Dimensions: Ranging from the rat at 33mm to the shell form example at 70mm
Provenance: The collection of Bob Goode, Philadelphia.

Overall good with minor surface wear.
