- Lot Description
A Swiss Inlaid Parcel Ebonized and Faux Rosewood Grained Cylinder Music Box, Late 19th Century. Having a 7 1/2 inch cylinder playing ten airs, the hinged lid having the original pinned paper tune sheet to the underside, the tune sheet numbered 59834.
Dimensions: 5 1/2in; width 18in; depth 8in.
Condition
The case is in generally good condition overall, with typical marks, nicks and scratches. The hinged lid slightly loose; lacking two screws to the right hinge. The tune sheet with creases and minor wear, but mostly intact. The brass cylinder turns and plays. Handle to left lifts. The comb has two broken teeth to the right side. We cannot guarantee the completeness, functionality or working condition of mechanical movement. No case key.
