- Lot Description
A Royal Vienna Gilt Heightened Porcelain Vase, Late 19th / Early 20th Century. Now mounted as a table lamp. Having reserves to the front and back depicting allegorical scenes of the 'Three Fates' and a female with six putti. Each signed 'F. Koller' to the lower right. Having large gilded scrolled and swag handles to either side. The square plinth base with underglaze blue beehive and black painted title.
Dimensions: Height of vase 22in; width across handles 12 1/2in; height overall 38 1/2in; height of plinth base 5in.
Provenance: Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Estate.
Condition
Not examined under UV light. Now mounted as a table lamp. The vase is mounted to a later pierced metal base and not attached to the square plinth base. Rubbing and abrasions to gilding along base of vase and plinth. Rubbing and wear to handles. There is a small chip to one handle. The gilt metal with heavy wear, oxidation and verdigris throughout. The wiring has been cut.
