- Lot Description
A Pennsylvania Sheraton Tiger Maple Chest of Drawers, Second Quarter 19th Century. The one board rectangular top over an outset drawer above three graduated drawers, flanked by inlay and turned half spindles and sunken paneled sides, raised on turned tapered legs. Tulip poplar secondary wood.
Dimensions: Height 44in; width 43in; depth 21 1/2in.
Provenance: Property from a New Jersey Collection.
Condition
Structurally Sound. Retaining an old refinish. Marks, wear, nicks, scuffs, abrasions and surface scratches throughout, otherwise generally good condition overall. The half spindles likely retaining their original finish. The pressed glass knobs are likely original. Scattered chips, fleabites and small losses to the pulls. No other holes to drawer fronts.
