- Lot Description
A George III Style Inlaid Mahogany Stepback Display Cabinet, Circa 1900. In two parts.
The upper section having a pierced and inlaid broken arch pediment over a molded cornice with floral marquetry inlaid frieze, above four glazed door enclosing an open interior with six adjustable shelves over a four door cupboard enclosing removable shelves and with shaped skirt, all raised on French feet.
Dimensions: Height 93in; width 75in; depth 20 1/2in.
Provenance: Property from a Philadelphia Main Line Collection.
Condition
Structurally sound. With general marks, wear, nicks, abrasions, surface scratches. There are movement to veneers and age cracks, most evident to doors on lower section, with minor associated losses. With four keys.
