An Assembled Group of Small Boxes and Table Articles, 19th-20th Century. Comprising an Italian tooled leather box; Chinese inlaid lacquer box; gutta percha locket decorated with deer in low relief; Southeast Asian silverplated bird form box; Turkish bone inlaid box; sea turtle form box; two Meissen porcelain Classical intaglios; Italian 800 silver pill box; Chinese carved timble case; Asian filigree silver box; Limoges porcelain hand-painted box; Native American silver pill box with inset turquoise; and a small Japanese lacquer box. Dimensions: Height of tooled leather box 2in; width 9in; depth 6in.
Provenance: Property from an Upper West Side, New York City Collection.
Condition
The turtle form box with a glued repair to flipper, otherwise overall good condition with expected wear and small losses.
