An even white intricate carved piece of deep abdominal, rising from a scrollwork foot to shoulder with body engraved carving lines to hok moire, blade hardness and softness, carved with chrysanthemum flowers, landscape and the 'Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove' motifs. The body superbly worked with a continuous landscape scene of luxuriant branches of flowers issuing from rock work, the foot with a key fret border, the neck worked on each side with a stylized taotie mask, sealed with 'Qian Long' mark and a Chinese government custom wax sealed.
