- Lot Description
20th Century. A rare collection of Chinese export porcelain, which illustrated with pieces representing 'imperial palace ware'. Each piece is brightly enameled in vibrant famille rose pink-glazed amidst floral patterned all-over on the exterior, comprising 174 pieces. PROVENANCE: Gift from S.Y. Lee to the current owner. She was born in 1906, studied with the daughter of Chen Shuren who was a famous revolutionist and painter in the early 20th Century. Her mother was working for the Xinhai Revolution (1911), which overthrew Qing Dynasty and established the Republic of China.
