World War II German SA Dagger by WKC (RZM)RZM 1938-1942 pattern, having 8.75-inch / 22-cm drop forged steel and nickel-silver plated blade displaying prominent cross-graining pattern with engraved motto on obverse of blade and RZM 'M7/42' maker mark on reverse ricasso indicating manufacture by Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. of Solingen (WKC), including bright nickel plated fittings, wood grip with obverse retaining inlaid nickel plated eagle clutching wreath as well as enameled and colored, runic SA insignia with painted magnetic metal scabbard having nickel plated locket retaining suspension ring and chape having ball finial, both secured to scabbard by a screw to each edge

Very Good, overall light wear consistent with normal use, heavy crossgraining to blade throughout, minor areas of light surface discoloration to blade throughout, possibly resulting from forging process, (2) minute area of brown surface discoloration near junction of blade with cross guard, on obverse, runner marks to both obverse and reverse overall, occasional light scuffs or scratches throughout, blade retains vast majority of nickel silver plating and lacks any major rust or deep pitting, slight movement in hilt, possibly resolved by tightening pommel nut, nickel plated hilt and scabbard fittings appear to have aged uniformly displaying only light wear consisting of occasional light scuffs, scratches and areas of finish loss / thinning throughout, wood grip exceptional, free of any cracks or major chips, having only light scuffs and scratches detail on eagle and enamel in insignia both well retained, painted scabbard having occasional light scuffs and scratches and still retains majority of original finish; Disclaimers: dagger has not been disassembled
