Good, overall light wear consistent with normal use, blade having minimal isolated areas of surface darkening near ricasso and beginning of fuller, remainder of blade having occasional light scuffs and scratches, aside from isolated shallow areas nickel plating free of any major rust or deep pitting, factory cross graining clearly visible throughout blade, guard having slight movement, hilt having occasional areas of darkening, some resulting from friction with portepee, end of scabbard having shallow dents that do not hinder blade movement, only minimal scuffs and scratching overall, retaining vast majority of finish
