Word War II German Officer Air Force Sword by Weyersberg
Having 28.375-inch blade with 'Paul Weyersberg & Co. Solingen' within ovals surrounding 'wreathed sword' mark on ricasso with waffenamt inspection stamp centered above, cast aluminum hilt retaining leather buffer pad and having winged cross guard with gilt sun-wheel variation emblems to both sides above double wire-wrapped blue Moroccan leather grip as well as both sides of round pommel, with hand-etched oak leaf motif around edge of pommel, scabbard having grained blue Moroccan leather with polished aluminum fittings retaining all screws as well as integral hanger of same finish leather, stitched around dual suspension rings
