Winter Sports Poster Assortment
Four items including 1950 Swiss 'Oberland Bernois' depicting Barbara Ann Scott, the Canadian ice-skater and winner of the Olympic games in 1948 at St. Moritz, and 1954 'Winter Sports' designed by Bernard Villemot (French, 1911-1989) plate signed lower right, having the imprint of S.A. Courbet lower right, plate signed 'Peikert' lower right, Swiss 'Pontresma' printed by J.C. Muller and plate signed 'Herbert Luepin' middle right 'Grindelwald' printed by Offset-Press Ltd.; all having plastic poster frames
Condition: Very Good to Good, all having light wrinkles and edge wear from having been rolled, more so at all lower corners, particularly 'Winter Sports'; 'Grindelwald' having crumpled lower left edge, extending nearly half way up poster and 3-inches wide at lower edge; overall light wear consistent with age and normal use; not examined out of the frames; not mounted on fabric backing, can be removed from frames for shipping; we cannot guarantee the condition after rolling
