Fair, overall light to moderate wear consistent with age and normal use; blade having mostly bright polish with no chips to edge noted; some areas of surface discoloration and occasional areas of loose grain on non-tempered portion of blade; blade having been polished repeatedly with nakago appearing slightly thicker than blade; moderate wear to koshirae including scuffs and scratches; joints of saya halves starting to separate beginning at mouth; tsuka having chip to decorative mekugi eyelet with slight separation beginning on joints that does not affect its ability to firmly retain the blade; habaki split on single side
