Two items including an original 1930s advertisement 'Les Messageries Maritimes Font Le Tour Du Monde' by Sandy Hook linen backed having printer notation at the bottom left 'Les IMP.Fr ses Reunies.25.Bd des Italiens.Paris'; 'Messageries Maritimes' by Jean des Gachons 1958, linen backed, having notation on bottom left 'Printed in France' and notation on bottom right 'Edita-Paris'; provenance Wittenberg Vintage Posters, Chicago, Illinois
Condition: Very Good to Good, both were restored on canvas or linen; overall light wear consistent with normal use; 'Les Messageries' has foxing to margins; repaired loss at lower right corner with lower half of the word 'Monde' and corner area repainted; loss with repainted area at right edge, at 'S' of 'Messageries'
