Very Good to Good, overall light wear consistent with age, blades retain majority of original plating and etching, lacking any major rust or deep pitting, having some surface scuffs, scratches and occasional areas of surface discoloration throughout; C.E. Ward having movement in hilt and some of wire wrapping loose and out of grooves though retains much of original gilt finish to hilt and scabbard; M. C. Lilley & Co. having slight movement to guard, wear to leather grip though wire wrapping firmly retained, some darkening to bronze tone finish on hilt and light surface discoloration to finish of scabbard overall; no dents to any scabbard, minor scuffs and scratches to swords and scabbards throughout, light wear to cloth bag and leather carry case
