Four hand-colored intaglio prints, unsigned, including (after) George Woodward 'A Political Fair'; (after) Thomas Howell Jones 'Catholic Petitioners or Symptoms of a Peaceable Appeal'; (after) John (H.B.) Doyle 'The Gheber, Worshipping the Rising Sun'; (after) Robert Dighton, Jr. 'Brook Watson'; each depicting caricatures from 19th century English society and politics, each in an acrylic frame; property from a Highland Park, Illinois collector
Condition: Very Good to Good, toning overall to Dighton print; tears and chips to margins of Dighton print; moisture stains to lower corners of Jones print; tape and tear to lower margin of Jones print; staining and foxing to margins of Woodward print; ink inscriptions to margins of Woodward print; Woodward print has been trimmed and laid on paper; tear at left edge of Doyle print; not examined out of the frames
