large format, gelatin silver print, circa 1930-1933, printed late 1970s, numbered 1/75 at lower right margin and with Walker Evans Estate blindstamp at lower right.20 x 15.5 in.; Sheet 23 7/8 x 20 in.A film negative of this image is housed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It was among the photographs Evans took under the enlistment of Lincoln Kirstein to document neglected Victorian architecture in New York and New England. An alternate description for this image is "Paired mirrors, parlor, grand union hotel, Saratoga Springs, NY."
