19th century, probably jumu (northern elm) wood, with stepped crest rail above the curved splat that is divided into three sections with different running grains of wood, the seat set within a rectangular frame, four legs flanked by shaped aprons and spandrels on the front and sides and joined by stepped stretchers and a front footrest.38 x 19 x 15.75 in.Good estate condition.
