the platinum brooch with (12) square step cut sapphires (3.5 x 3.5 x 2.4mm) (VVS clarity) channel set and weighing approximately 3.24 total carats and with (6) bead set mine cut diamonds (2.86mm) weighing approximately .54 total carat (G-H color, SI clarity) within a milgrain border and completed with a single pin stem and C clasp, with a maker's mark and numbered 225.2.5 in.4.5 dwt.Sapphires very slightly violetish blue with medium light tone and moderate saturation.Purchased from BirksVery good estate condition; some sapphires with minor abrading.
