Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century, exceptionally large pair of Chinese palace or imperial vases, hexagonal sided vases with alternating panels that feature golden dragons reaching for the flaming pearl and elegant phoenixes, both among gilded swirling clouds, a key design in black frames the top and bottom of the vases, the vases rest on their fitted original lacquer stands with six feet and decorated with peonies and longevity symbols.72 in.
