- Lot Description
19th century, each with scroll motifs around a solid center carved with three plain sections, solid seat with a bracket apron and square section legs joined by stretchers. 38.75 x 24.5 x 18.5 in.In the homes of wealthy these type of armchairs were used as a status symbol and given priority in the main hall.Good estate condition with some minor wear, scratches and fading of the wood in spots.
