- Lot Description
18th-19th century, bronze, in the form of a couple at prayer, the circular burner in front is encircled with a lotus blossom.4.75 x 4.75 x 2.5 in.Ritual lamps were used in temple and home shrines. This type of lamp with a couple pictured and containing a candle spot for one wick would have been used in a home and either been lit all day or only lit at sundown. Given to Stewart Edwards by the Royal family of Nepal for his service and friendship in the late 1950s
