- Lot Description
the round floral engraved case with ivory dial and applied black enamel Roman numeral hour markers and blued steel hands, with diamond set crown, case reverse centered with one bezel set old European cut diamond (4.0mm) weighing approximately .25 carat (G color, VVS1 clarity) and encircled with a diamond wreath motif and further accented with bead set diamonds to the round outline, with diamond accented surmount and bail and diamond set platinum necklace, signed and testing platinum. The (397) old single cut round diamonds (1.3mm) weigh approximately 3.97 carats (G-H color, VVS - VS clarity). Total diamond weight of approximately 4.22 carats. Watch works signed C.H. Meylan / Brassus and movement #26339 / 15 jewel 5 adjustment movement. Case back signed, stamped platinum / 5037.22 in.19.9 dwt.Very good estate condition; old European cut diamond nicked on tip of star facet; watch is running.
