late 20th century, boat form with hand-hammered surface, undulating sides with scrolling acanthus hand-chased decoration, each end features two finely detailed cast figures of putti playing various instruments while perched upon shells, the whole raised on a cast and applied shell and scroll foot, full hallmarks.10.25 x 20.5 x 9.5 in.93 troy oz.This impressive piece was made by the Vallí family of Milan and retailed by F.lli Peruzzi of Florence.No apparent condition concerns.
